There is a jumper between the R and Rc terminal. When trying to setup my nest thermostat I've put the R wire into both the Rh and Rc terminals on separate occasions, … So put your red wire in R. You can plug it into either, nest has an internal jumper. Contact customer service they are really great. You just send them this pic and they will send you a wiring diagram customized for your system. While this is great advice, the OP has a pretty straight forward system. They have a jumper wire connecting Rc to Rh.

Dec 11, 2021 · Thanks for replying! Unfortunately a two transformer system will have separate Rc and Rh wires along with two C wires back at the two separate relay or control boards (A/C and boiler). "If you have >1 R wire, then R (or Rh) goes to R and Rc goes to Rc." That's not my question. I need to know which of the two C wires to route to the thermostat.
