23 posts · Joined 2012. #1 · Nov 8, 2012. 05 sportsman 500 efi. tested coil and have 5200 ohms on high tension side and .5 on low tension side. i have no power coming from the wires to the coil. the manual says to check the coil (which i just gave specs for) and connection between the ecm and coil with ohm meter for continuity.Disconnect the stator cable. You should see the three wires of the same color running out of the stator to the connector. Turn the multimeter to ohms. You’re going to place the meter leads to the pins in the connector.
