Don't bother with Fidium. For the last 6 months I've worked with Consolidated/Fidium to fix a glaring issue with my service. I am able to get full gigabit from their servers, but once I connect to any server here using Speedtest in VT, such as Comcast Boston, Burlington Telecom, VTEL, Hub 66, I get 1/3rd of a gigabit up/down connected directly ....

Even that outage was likely the result of someone unplugging my connection upstream, probably when they were turning up a new customer. 5.I'm on the 1GB plan and get around 1140MB down, 1130MB up within the Fidium/Consolidated infrastructure. When transiting other networks it's highly variable, anywhere from 600MB to 900MB up and down but rarely more than 1GB.
