Cuddlefish subnautica

I've got a bug in my game, whenever I place an egg into my alien containment, specifically to hatch a cuddlefish for the achievement, the egg falls through my base and into the water outside. I'm NOT putting the egg into the planter section as it doesn't let me. I drop the egg as I should and it falls through.

In a rush to clean my inventory and dumped a bunch of eggs into the bioreactor including the 2 cuddlefish ones i got from a time capsule.
