Once the key is in the proximity of the truck, the relay would release the pin that locks the steering wheel. Then you could push the button and start the truck.

There are 2 button positions that you can access by not having your foot on the brake and they are handy for hooking up wires for power if you don't want to run the engine (like in the garage!).I went to start the car first thing in the morning and nothing happened when I pushed the start button. The brake pedal was also very stiff. I waited a few seconds and try a couple of times but still nothing happened.
